How the finder chooses
- Single cable motors take a DOL starter; double cable motors take a star delta starter. Double cable motors start from 7.5 HP, and single cable motors go up to 10 HP.
- On 2 phase or juice line, a Combined starter runs your 3 phase motor. Juice line is safe only up to 10 HP.
- Every BTCO starter has dry run, overload and voltage protection, so it trips before your motor burns.
