Every season, farmers lose money and water to burnt submersible motors. BTCO starters are built to stop that: they switch the motor off before dry run, overload, single phasing or a bad supply can burn it. Join the BTCO Starters dealer network and sell starters that save your customers’ motors, with training, brochures and warranty support from us.
Sell the starter that stops motors from burning
A burnt motor means a rewinding bill, days without water and sometimes a lost crop. Most motors burn for a few common reasons, and a BTCO starter guards against each of them:
- Dry run: when the borewell runs dry, the starter stops the motor before it overheats, then starts it again after the dry restart time you set, once the borewell has refilled.
- Overload: the starter learns the motor’s normal current by itself and trips if a jammed pump or worn bearing makes the motor draw too much.
- Single phasing and bad supply: when a phase goes missing or the voltage goes wrong, the motor is switched off instead of running and burning.
- Earth fault, imbalance and cable faults: caught and shown on the display, so the problem is fixed before the motor is damaged.
- Every trip explained: the display shows the reason, for example Dry Run Trip or Overload Trip, so the farmer and the electrician know what to fix.

Our philosophy
BTCO was started in Tumakuru in 1993 by Bhaskar, who taught electrical and electronics engineering for 13 years and loves farming as much as electronics. From the beginning, the idea has been simple: watch the problems farmers face every day, and solve them with practical, affordable and long-lasting starters. Above all, protect the farmer’s motor. We keep upgrading our products as farmers’ needs change, from digital motor protection to mobile starters controlled from the BTCO Starters app. More about BTCO.
The BTCO range you will sell
Starters for single cable and double cable motors, for normal 3 phase, 2 phase and juice line supply, and for single phase motors. There is also the MPAU motor protection and auto start unit, the GSM Module that turns any BTCO starter into a mobile starter, and BTCO capacitors. Answers to common customer questions are on our motor starter FAQ.

Pump and electrical shops, electricians, borewell drillers, and anyone who genuinely believes in what BTCO stands for: protecting farmers’ motors from burning with practical, long-lasting starters.
Can I become a dealer outside Karnataka?
Yes. We welcome dealers from anywhere. Fill in the form on this page and we will call you.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, a minimum first order is needed. Call 9353950549 to know how to order. We share the other details over a call.
What support do BTCO dealers get?
Training on BTCO starters, brochures, a listing on our Sales & Service Centres page so farmers can find you, and warranty support. We do not provide a display unit.
Why do farmers ask for BTCO starters?
Because a burnt motor costs a farmer far more than a good starter. BTCO starters stop the motor before dry run, overload, single phasing, voltage problems or cable faults can burn it, show the reason for every trip on the display, and start the motor again by themselves when it is safe.
